On Saturday 23rd June CLIC attended WOW Camp 2012: a giant gathering of what seemed like every Girl Guide in Wales (there were at least 800: we have never seen so many merit badges and neck toggle things all in one place!)

Throughout the day we held drumming workshops, handed out cameras and videocameras to budding journalists, set up a portrait booth, and recorded a huge number of CLICrants. We’re aiming to have everything up online for you within a week or so, so if you were one of the incredible Guides we met on Saturday please bookmark this page and check back regularly for developments.

Here's a reminder of what you can get out of CLIC:

Sign up to leave comments

Click on ‘sign up’ at the top of the page and choose a username and password. You will need to have an email address – if you don’t have one already, we recommend using Hotmail or Gmail.

Once you’ve signed up and logged in, you can write articles about anything you like

Click on ‘Submit News’ and then you can write about anything. Anything at all. We have a guide to writing articles, but to be honest the best thing is just to write some of the other news articles on the website to get an idea of the many different things you can submit to CLIC.

Once your article has been submitted, it will be looked at by an editor and then set live (this shouldn’t take more than a couple of days). To see your newly published article, click on the drop-down map in the top-right corner and choose the area you live to go to your local CLIC website. (If your local CLIC website is not ready yet, your article will be published on the main page: www.CLIConline.co.uk)

I want to see the photos from the event

Some of them are already up, but we’re working speedily on the others! Check the CLIC photo gallery regularly for updates.

I want to see the videos

Videos take a little longer to prepare, but we are working on all of them! They will be uploaded to our video website, www.CLICplay.co.uk (which is a bit like YouTube, only not blocked in schools).

Today me and my friends have been doing videos about twilight and how much we love and hate CHEESE !!! we got a free pencil pen and notebook for taking part our videos are going to be on the clic website.

I think twilight is pretty boring, I mean, Vampire and Werewolves are too popular, I like horror films like Sleepy Hollow (Pretty gross film but I'm twisted like that MWAHAHAHA) So, I'm on neither team >:)

I remember being a girl guide! Why didn't we get to have cool things like that? I completed loads of tasks- never got any of my badges given to me, so I quit.

Ugh, Bieber and Twilight? Oh well, as long as they don't go off about them 24/7, haha.

haha i put the Heather Peace comment and some of the others were my friends. lke the i like rainbows and horror films was on of my friends and so was the pet rock one! and pebbles and leonardo are my pet rocks lol

Would you like an avatar (picture) to go next to your name? It can be anything you like except for a photo of you (because all writing on CLIC is anonymous to protect your identity online). Just think up a cool image - or paste the link to one in a comment - and I'll make it your picture for you!

I was at the event, (Im on the last pic, guess who I might be, coz im not saying >:3) Hint: if you saw the laptops, I wrote about me being twisted MWAHAHAHA!!! anyways, I'll sen a link to you for my Avatar, and I can't wait for the new stuff that'll be posted on the site!

@Sam (Sub-Editor) thats hilarious! I was browsing though some 'All the things' Memes, I was looking for 'Save all the princesses', an Adventure Time Meme, but then the Dohvafin pic was there, I thought it looked Epic! Skyrim and Adventure are like... AWESOME!! If you want the pic, look up on Google Images;
In Their Toung, He is Adventure Born' Or somthing like that :/
