LEGO Movie Needs You

Do you like LEGO? Think you can build something awesome enough to star in a movie? Then read on...
LEGO have launched a competition to design a vehicle to star in the new LEGO movie which is coming out in 2014.
It can be anything from a train to a plane, a car, a spaceship, a boat… whatever takes your fancy. The vehicle must have no LEGO Harry Potter™ minifigures and needs to look like it started out as something else – like a castle that has been converted into a race car.
Spin the wheels of your imagination and start building! Once you've made your vehicle, take a photo and upload it to the website at www.lego-themovie.co.uk. Entries need to be in by 31 December 2012, and then a winner will be picked.
Not only will your vehicle appear in the movie, but the winner will also to receive five family passes to LEGOLAND in Windsor.
The new LEGO movie is the first ever full-length theatrical LEGO movie. It follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
The 3D animated adventure will open nationwide on February 28, 2014. It will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (who both made 21 Jump Street and Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs).
The film will include some of the most popular LEGO figures while introducing several new characters for all to enjoy. And, when it's out, I'm sure we'll have a review up here for you to read. In the meantime: get building with those LEGO bricks!
