Welcome to window #19 of the CLICmas Advent Calendar! If you'd like a window of your own to strut your Christmas stuff in (or should that be stuffing - parp!) and have the chance of winning a Nintendo 3DS then email sam@cliconline.org.uk as soon as possible.

Writer's note: I know I ramble a little but it's unusual for me to write a piece like this, I hope you like the small insight to my life...

Today is the 19th of December. Not long to go now! Only another six more days, yes that’s right people six more days until Christmas.

Normally around this time of year I really couldn’t care if it was Christmas or not. I’m not particularly religious and to me it’s just some day where people spend loads of money for no apparent reason - that and my birthday had just happened six days previous.

This year however I’m not the typical Scrooge. I’m looking forward to it and really cannot wait. I have most of my presents bought (now that I’m in the working industry too, it’s easy to get it done earlier) and I can’t wait to start wrapping them. Yes, that’s right I love to wrap the Christmas presents.

So not only am I excited for Christmas but I’m particularly looking forward to my birthday too. Again normally I don’t care, but this year it’s a special celebration and although I did want a big party, I’ve recently realised I don’t want that. I’d much rather spend it in the company of my family and a friend or two.

So this is my special Christmas and I’m hoping to make it more of a family shared event in comparison to previous years. Yes this year is going to be hard like last year, after all no one likes a loss in the family over Christmas - but enough of the downers for now. Look on the bright side (or chilly white side if you like) of Christmas.

Have a Merry CLICmas everyone! Remember to post some stories up so I can read and be nosey… (I’m now smiling because of my witty charm ho, ho, ho).
